P153K shabu seized in buy-bust ops in GMA, Cavite

CAVITE – A total of P153,000 worth of suspected “shabu” was seized in separate buy-bust operations in General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office identified the suspect as alias Noli.

He was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a poseur buyer and yielded 15 grams of suspected “shabu,” with an estimated street value of P102,000.

In another buy-bust operation, authorities arrested alias Ricoy.

Seized from him were 7.5 grams of illegal drugs with a standard value of P51,000.

Both suspects are now under the custody of GMA Municipal Police Station and are facing drug charges.

The confiscated pieces of evidence, on the other hand, will be brought to the Provincial Forensic Unit in Imus City for laboratory examination.
