The local absentee voting (LAV) at the Manila Police District (MPD) Headquarters in Ermita, Manila has started on Wednesday, April 27.

MPD Director Brig. Gen. Leo Francisco led the casting of votes for the LAV.
A total of 114 uniformed policemen were set to cast their votes on Wednesday.
As of this posting, at least 94 MPD personnel have already cast their votes.
The three-day absentee voting will run until Friday, April 29.
There are a total of 84,357 approved local absentee voters, according to the Commission on Elections.
