2 drug suspects arrested in Parañaque buy-bust

Two alleged notorious drug suspects were arrested by members of the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in a buy-bust operation on Friday, Nov. 10.

The suspects identified as certain Joey and Rodel were nabbed at around 4:40 p.m. on Sandejas St. in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City.

The police said members of the SDEU conducted an entrapment operation for the arrest of the suspects who were subject of complaints for their illegal drugs trade.

SDEU members were able to confiscate from the suspect about 25 grams of shabu amounting to P170,000.

Police records showed that alias Joey was also arrested on May 11, 2017, while Rodel was nabbed on May 8, 2019 for violation of illegal possession of drugs.

The confiscated shabu was turned over to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for quantitative and qualitative analyses.

The suspects were immediately detained at the Parañaque City police custodial facility after their arrest.
