Although Journey vocalist Arnel Pineda has admitted that he has three sons with three different mothers, he insists that he is no playboy.

“Mahilig lang akong tumingin,” he quipped on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Nov. 5.

He did not name the mothers “kasi magagalit naman ang mga anak ko” but he recalled getting married at age 20.

“[Then] pagka-annul, I got married again,” he said.

Arnel mused, “Sa first relationship ko, I think it was… because I was young, I was very adventurous. And then lalaki [pa so] the usual, boys will be boys."

The Journey vocalist maintains a healthy relationship with each of his children’s mothers.

“We have a very good understanding. Nagse-share naman kami, we share together to support the kid.”

Will his current wife be the last woman in his life?

“I’m hoping so [pero] hindi mo masasabi ang buhay. Pero I’m very definite about my feelings for her. I think it’s going to work. Magkasundo kami. We’re on the right track,” he said.

Arnel is the latest Filipino musical sensation to rock the US music scene. He has appeared on “Oprah” twice, getting a standing ovation in both instances with his heartfelt performance.

Arnel was discovered via YouTube by Journey guitarist Neal Schon, who accidentally stumbled into a video of his performance of "Faithfully," a Journey classic. Schon sought Arnel thereafter to replace Jeff Scott Soto.
