‘Adik Sa ‘Yo’ gains ratings

Fans of romantic-comedy series seem to prefer “Adik Sa ‘Yo” over its counterpart in the other station. Last July 14, GMA-7’s “Adik Sa ‘Yo” (25.6 percent) beat ABS-CBN’s “The Wedding” (19.9 percent), based on the overnight TV ratings among Mega Manila households.

In the story, sparks are now starting to fly between Ruben (Dennis Trillo) and Karen (Jennica Garcia).

However, it won’t be long before the Batangueño learns of Karen’s true identity, which will ultimately set back their budding romance. Meanwhile, Carlos and Joana’s relationship will be put to the test when James (Wendell Ramos) enters the picture.

And with the upcoming addition of skilled comedienne Eugene Domingo to its cast, “Adik Sa ‘Yo” will surely be funnier and more entertaining to watch.

Viewers will surely fall crazy in love with “Adik Sa ‘Yo” every weeknight after “Rosalinda” on GMA Telebabad.

‘Yoyo Tricker’ advances to finals on ‘Talentadong Pinoy’

Keeping his winning streak alive for the fourth time last Saturday which put TV5’s “Talentadong Pinoy” at the top of the ratings game, 13-year-old Joshua Rafael Davis, a.k.a. The Yoyo Tricker, is now onto his fifth performance this Saturday – his final chance at getting in the show’s pool of “Hall of Famers.”

But The Yoyo Tricker does not see his victories as a mere stroke of luck, but by a divine guidance from his brother, to whom Joshua dedicates his performances and achievements since he lost him to a brain tumor right before joining the reality talent show.

After battling brain tumor for years, his Kuya Bugoy passed away on an ill-timed circumstance last April 20, right when the two were preparing to audition for “Talentadong Pinoy,” leaving Joshua to continue on his own and carry on with his Kuya Bugoy’s shared dream.

Joshua is expected to deliver his final and best performance today at 7 p.m., where the jurors will decide his fate to be part of “Talentadong Pinoy’s” “Hall of Fame,” joining Hall of Fame titleholders

“The Acrobatic” Gutierrez Family and Wan Lu the puppeteer.
