'Regal Studio Presents' reveals new episodes for summer of 2023

GMA Network and Regal Entertainment’s weekly anthology ‘Regal Studio Presents’ sizzles this summer with brand-new special episodes about love and family top-billed by sought-after Kapuso stars.

This Sunday (March 12), witness how two strangers meet in the most unexpected manner in the romantic-comedy "Holdap ‘to, I Love You."

Sparkle artists Kate Valdez as Marian and Yasser Marta as Lorenz headline the story about a delivery boy who is just waiting for a call to start his career as a seaman.  

Lorenz, who is in dire need of financial assistance, took on the suggestion of his friend by agreeing to do a hold-up operation targeting jeepney passengers until Lorenz encounters Marian and was taken aback by her beauty. Lorenz tries to be close to Marian even if inside, he still feels guilty about what he attempted to do to her. 

But what if Marian finds out that the guy who she finds to be sweet and caring, is the same person who gave her a scare?  Will this end the budding romance between the two?

Royce Cabrera and Thea Tolentino

On March 19, Kapuso viewers will gain insight into the importance of marriage through ‘Romy & Julie’ bannered by Thea Tolentino as Julie and Royce Cabrera as Romy. This episode revolves around the story of newlyweds who are facing the reality of being a married couple. 

Julie and Romy start out very sweet, loving, and understanding toward each other but as time progresses, they discover each other's peculiarities and flaws, and they start to get on each other's nerves. Until one day, they realize that being together may be a cause of more conflict than growth as a couple. 

Josh Ford and Elijah Tolentino

On March 26, the exciting story ‘Hot Momma’ stars Elijah Alejo as Lecel, Maxine Medina as Sonya, and Josh Ford as Andrei.  It is about a teenager named Lecel who lives in the shadow of her mom, Sonya, who used to be a model in her younger days. She tries to encourage her daughter to spruce up her look but Lecel acts uninterested and even irritated.

She cheers up when her longtime friend, Andrei, visits and is excited to see her. Lecel obviously has a big crush on Andrei. But Andrei particularly takes interest in meeting Sonya since he wants to have her sign a copy of the men’s magazine with her on the cover. 

Does Andrei have a liking towards Lecel, or is he more drawn to his friend’s mom?
