Teen hangs self due to modules

TACLOBAN CITY – A 17-year-old student allegedly took his own life Monday after complaining about his school modules in Barangay 12, Planong here.

Police said the victim, a Grade 10 student, was found dead by his elder brother outside their house at around 6 a.m. He used a blanket in hanging himself.

According to his parents, the victim had been complaining about having difficulty answering his modules for days and expressed his intent to quit school.

It was learned that prior to the incident, the victim woke up early to accomplish his house chores.
