Around P1M worth of jewelry, cash, stolen from Manila jewelry store owner
Around P1 million worth of cash and jewelry were stolen from a jewelry store owner at his store along Recto Avenue in Sta. Cruz, Manila Wednesday morning.

Lt. Col. Rollyfer Capoquian, Binondo Police Station commander, said Teodolo Cay, 73, was opening his shop at around 7 a.m. when the still unidentified robber approached him.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage showed that the assailant was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, light-colored pants, a black cap, and a face mask. Police said he is around 30 to 35 years old, around 5'4" tall, and has a slim built.
Capoquian said the robber held the store owner at gunpoint and took around P500,000 worth of jewelry and around P500,000 worth of cash.
The perpetrator sped away on a motorcycle toward Florentino Torres Street.
Further investigation is underway.
