The partnership aims to expand property access for overseas Filipinos in the US and Canada.
Robinsons Land Corp.’s (RLC) residential division has formed an alliance with digital real estate platform Bahaideals.com to market Philippine properties to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) living in North America.
Under the agreement, RLC Residences will list its condominium and residential portfolio on Bahaideals.com. The partnership specifically targets the Filipino diaspora in the United States (US) and Canada, providing cross-border buyers with verified property listings, virtual guidance, and home financing integration to streamline the cross-border purchasing process.
The move comes as Philippine developers increasingly look abroad to capture steady investment from overseas Filipinos, who historically view local real estate as a primary vehicle for wealth accumulation and retirement security.
Remittances to the Philippines have consistently served as a key driver for the domestic property market, insulating developers from localized economic shifts.
Teddy V. Bernas, Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager of RLC Residences, stated that the collaboration aims to provide long-term investment value and peace of mind to buyers managing transactions from thousands of miles away.
He noted that the initiative will deliver the structural comfort and asset security that modern offshore buyers demand.
The collaboration integrates RLC Residences’ international marketing pipeline with Bahaideals.com’s digital infrastructure. The platform is designed to minimize transaction friction and mitigate the transparency risks that frequently complicate overseas real estate acquisitions.
Denise Lyttle-Lao, Vice President and Overall Head of Sales at RLC Residences, remarked that distance has traditionally introduced complexity and uncertainty into the homebuying journey for overseas Filipinos.
She emphasized that buyers are currently executing more rigorous evaluations of their investment options, looking for institutional partners to guarantee that their capital is deployed securely.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Bahaideals.com President and Chief Executive Officer Keny Chang, alongside executive management members from both firms, including Bahaideals.com Director of Commercial Operations Ana Alvarez and Chief Marketing Officer Karlo Morales.
