Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, collectively known as DonBelle, are taking a step back from working together to focus on their individual careers.
In an interview on "Paano Ba To?" hosted by Bianca Gonzalez, the pair confirmed that their upcoming film "Tayo Sa Wakas" will serve as their final project as a tandem at least for now.
Pangilinan said the decision was intentional.
“We’ve done so many projects throughout the years, but Belle and I decided that for this specific project, it will be our last DonBelle project for now,” he said.
Mariano echoed the sentiment, describing the move as a mutual decision driven by their desire to grow individually as artists and explore opportunities beyond their established love team.
Despite the pause, both stars emphasized their continued support for each other as they pursue separate creative paths.
"But you know, it’s a mutual decision. This is why this project required so much growth from him and me," Belle said.

The two admitted the decision was a hard one given that they are now used to working together.
'"It’s hard because we’re going through it sa shoot na hindi namin alam when we’re going to shoot this kind of scene again, reminiscing the times we’ll be on set. We’re just glad that we get to go through this together," Donny said.
This might be their last project together for now, but Belle reassured fans that they are doing their best to make the most out it.
''Now that we said this is our last for now, we really want to make it worth it for everyone...Right now, we are just really giving our best, everything,” Belle said.
"Tayo Sa Wakas" marks Donny and Belle’s first film together in four years, following “An Inconvenient Love” in 2022, although they previously reunited in the dramas "Can’t Buy Me Love" and "How to Spot a Red Flag."
Since last year, the two have focused on separate projects. The actress starred in "Incognito" and "Meet, Greet, & Bye," while also working on her music and businesses.
Meanwhile, Pangilinan stayed busy with the film "GG" and the action drama "Roja."
