Man wanted for child abuse arrested in Muntinlupa

Police arrested on Sunday, March 1, a construction worker who is facing two counts of child abuse in Muntinlupa City.

The accused, identified as alias Charrie, 35, was nabbed at his residence on Amparo Street in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa.

The operation was conducted by the city police's Warrant and Subpoena Unit. The Muntinlupa police listed him as this month's No. 3 most wanted person.

He was apprehended based on warrants of arrest in two criminal cases for violation of Section 10(A) of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act).

The warrants were issued on Feb. 20 by Presiding Judge Philip Aguinaldo of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 207. The court recommended a bail of P80,000 for each count.

The accused is in the custody of the Muntinlupa police.
