3 hurt as docked cargo ship catches fire in Manila North Harbor

Three individuals were reported injured after a fire hit a cargo vessel docked in the Manila North Harbor in Moriones, Tondo, Manila on Wednesday night, Dec. 3.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the blaze started inside the engine room of the ship at around 7:16 p.m. and was quickly raised to the second alarm at around 7:21 p.m.
Firefighters declared the fire out at around 8:45 p.m.
Meanwhile, the injured crewmen of the ship were immediately brought to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the fire and the amount of damages to the ship.
