Finestra at Solaire partners with Globe Platinum's Gastronome Giving Series, turning an exquisite six-course Italian menu into a heartfelt campaign supporting the Hapag Movement's fight against hunger

In the elegant dining rooms of Finestra at Solaire Resort Entertainment City and Solaire Resort North, Executive Chef Andrea Spagoni blends the cooking traditions of his Piedmontese grandmother with his Michelin culinary expertise, transforming exceptional meals into lifelines for Filipino families.
Guided by a spirit of purpose, the premier Italian destination joins Globe Platinum’s Gastronome Giving Series in partnership with Fine Dining Club, running until Nov. 30, 2025.
During this period, diners enjoying Finestra’s specially curated menu will automatically support the Hapag Movement’s efforts to combat involuntary hunger, a root cause of stunting that affects thousands of Filipino children.
The program harnesses technology-enabled fundraising alongside sustainable feeding and nutrition education initiatives. Beneficiary partners include the Ayala Foundation and the UN World Food Programme.
“The Hapag Movement embodies Globe’s approach to tackle child stunting caused by malnutrition and involuntary hunger. Through Gastronome Giving, we're proving that business success and sustainability are not just compatible, but important partners,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe chief sustainability and corporate communications officer.
World-class cuisine for a cause
Recognized among Tatler's Best Restaurants in the Philippines 2025, Finestra has consistently elevated Manila's gastronomic landscape, delivering menus that are as innovative as they are true to Italian tradition.
“Every dish I create carries the wisdom of my nonna with a cosmopolitan flair, but also the responsibility to serve with purpose, ensuring that our craft extends into giving back,” said Chef Andrea.
For Gastronome Giving, Chef Andrea has curated a Globe Platinum Set Menu that showcases Italian culinary artistry. Priced at P6,800 per person, this six-course symphony begins with Finestra's bread selection, accompanied by extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
The antipasto features pan-fried Hokkaido scallops in red gazpacho, followed by artisanal orecchiette bathed in aromatic prawn broth with spicy bell pepper. The secondo presents Josper-grilled beef tenderloin, elevated by truffle confit potatoes and Swiss chard, before concluding with ricotta cassata adorned with candied orange and caramel pistachio. A selection of homemade petit fours provides the perfect finale.
Globe Platinum and Fine Dining Club members also receive an exclusive fiordelatte (milk gelato) as a pre-dessert.
