Kenneth Llover warms up for title chase with fourth-round KO of Argentine foe

After dictating the tempo through the opening rounds, the pride of General Trias, Cavite decided to put an early conclusion to the bout after unloading a booming left to the head that sent Baldor down to the canvas.
The Argentine tried to stand up and recover but couldn't muster enough strength to beat the count as Llover picked up the victory to improve to a perfect 16-0 record with 11 knockouts.
Baldor, on the other hand, dropped to a 21-5 record.
While Llover came out victorious in his bout, the same could not be said for John Riel Casimero who absorbed a stinging unanimous decision loss against Kyonusuke Kamada at the same venue on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The former three-division world champion looked like a shadow of his former self as he struggled against the more cerebral fighter.
Kameda outboxed Casimero as he punished the Filipino with slick jabs to keep him at bay. At the end of 10 rounds, the judges had the Japanese winning 98-94,98-94 and 97-95.
