2025 Awit Awards: BINI, Lola Amour, Dionela among most-nominated artists
For its 38th year, the Awit Awards once again shines a light on the Pinoy artist, celebrating the finest in Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
The Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) taps into its new era with MQuest Ventures (MQV) as powered by Vibe, the Philippines’ ultimate OPM countdown.
R&B singer Dionela leads nominees with seven nods for his tracks "Marilag" and "Sining," which is a collab with Jay-R.
“Marilag” earned nominations for Record of the Year and Best Performance by a Solo Artist, while “Sining” is in the running for Song of the Year and Best Collaboration.
Aside from that, his song "Hoodie" with Alison Shore, is nominated under the Best Pop Recording category.
Meanwhile, seven-piece band Lola Amour garnered six nominations, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Alternative Recording, Best Musical Arrangement, and Best Engineered Recording.
The Nation's Girl Group, BINI, scored four nominations: Album of the Year, Music Video of the Year ("Salamin, Salamin"), Music Video of the Year ("Cherry On Top"), and Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
