The International Series Philippines and sports entertainment brand BingoPlus successfully organized a Media Golf Day at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club last Sept. 24.
Serving as an appetizer to the main event set from Oct. 23 to 26, the Golf Day gathered media personalities and was able to introduce the series of activities lined up ahead of the exciting competition, such as the opening gala, a music festival, and the Pro-Am tournament, where professional athletes and amateurs get to play with each other
The tournament is said to bring in some of the biggest names in the world of golf, including major winners, tour champions, and rising stars.
“This is the first time the International Series will be hosted in the Philippines and we hope to provide entertainment and excitement with the idea to show the Philippines that golf can be more and that it is an opportunity to come out and enjoy the outdoors to be with your family or bring out your inner sportsperson, as well as hopefully inspire the next generation of players," said Rahul Singh, Head of the International Series.
Singh also commended the partnership with BingoPlus.
”Just look at the entire family brands of Digiplus supporting us in a big way, they have seen the vision of bringing the tournament in the Philippines, and none of these would be possible without our partnerships, with the goal to deliver a successful event," he said.
Joining Singh during the question and answer was Miguel Tabuena, a three-time Asian Tour winner and one of the most promising golf players from the Philippines.
