President Marcos traces his roots to Ilocos Norte, which is further north from La Union.
The combined effects from Tropical Depression "Mirasol" and Super Typhoon "Nando" affected 4,633 families (15,759 persons) and caused agricultural losses worth P4.51 million across 29 hectares.
Following the destructive impact of Typhoon "Emong" and a recent earthquake just recently, these interventions are pivotal, Ortega noted.
The Deputy Speaker expressed hia constituents' heartfelt gratitude and steadfast commitment to President Marcos' vision.
“La Union will always remember the unwavering support of our beloved President. Through his leadership, we are not only rebuilding but forging a stronger, more resilient future for our communities," he said.
"Together, we stand with the Marcos Administration vision of a 'Bagong Pilipinas'. Thank you, Mr. President, for your compassionate and decisive action—your leadership inspires us all," Ortega added.
