Yuanshan Li led the way for China with 18 points while Hanyun Sun and Anni Li both asserted their size to finish with double-doubles of 12 points and 15 rebounds for the former and 10 points and 14 rebounds for the latter.
Ella Smith paced Gilas with 14 points and eight rebounds while Makeena Ramos had 10. Tiffany Reyes, the heroine of the team's win over South Korea, was limited to just six.

Still, Gilas, which is now assured of keeping its Division A spot, can go for a winning end to its campaign when it takes on Chinese Taipei in the battle for the fifth spot.
