BTS' V throws first pitch at LA Dodgers game, meets Shohei Ohtani

V, a member of K-pop idol group BTS, threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers game on Aug. 25.

The LA Dodgers played with the Cincinnati Reds at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. 

V, wearing an LA Dodgers uniform, threw the first pitch at Yoshinobu Yamamoto 

"It's time for Dodger baseball!" V announced. 

Major League Baseball and the LA Dodgers posted photos and videos of V on social media.  

Before this, V met LA Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani. They hugged and posed for photos. 

Fans commended the meeting of the two popular stars. 

“We are ready!! Two superstars together!” one commented. 

Another wrote, “2 people at the top of their respective fields meeting.. what an amazing moment for V and Shohei.” 

Others posted “Two incredibly talented men!” and “That's an epic crossover! Both are icons in their fields. Exciting times ahead!”
