Incumbent Makati City congressman and mayoral bet Luis Campos and his running mate, Rep. Kid Peña, have been endorsed by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) religious group for the upcoming May midterm elections.

Although the endorsement was not publicly announced by the INC, the endorsement was confirmed by sources familiar with the decision.

“Aking kinikilala ang malaking papel na inyong ginagampanan sa pagpapalaganap ng pagkakaisa, disiplina, at malasakit sa kapwa—mga prinsipyong aking pinanghahawakan at isinusulong sa aking paglilingkod (I recognize the important role you play in promoting unity, discipline, and concern for others—principles that I uphold and promote in my service),” he added.
