Chinese man yields P250,000 Ecstasy in buy-bust

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga â€“ A Chinese national was arrested and P250,000 worth of party drug Ecstasy was seized in a buy-bust operation on Don Juico Ave., Barangay Malabanias, this city, on Wednesday night, July 31.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga identified the suspect as Jinfu Wang, alias Simon, 44, a resident of Taguig City.

Wang yielded a resealable plastic bag containing 68 tablets of pink Ecstasy, another resealable plastic bag containing 32 tablets blue Ecstasy, smart phone, Toyota FJ Cruiser, and the marked money.

The PDEA said Wang was allegedly involved in the distribution of party drugs in pubs and disco houses in Angeles City and Metro Manila.

Confiscated items will be forwarded to the PDEA-Regional Office 3 laboratory for forensic examination.

The operation was conducted by the PDEA-Pampanga Provincial Office and the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) Station 4.

The suspect faces drug-related charges.
