A 30-second video posted by Savidug Elementary School principal Arlene Castillo on Facebook on Wednesday morning, July 31,  showed teacher Carol Figuro going up the flagpole without any harness or safety gear.

A blue rope was tied on her waist and she reached the top of the flagpole in about 10 seconds.

She removed the rope from her waist and inserted the rope into a small hole after which she went down safely and looked up to check if the rope was properly put in place.

Castillo, in the video caption, said: "Wednesday morning exercise daw (in love emoji) dko kaya yan maam mam Carol Baro Figuro (in love emoji)."

Her colleagues and netizens were amazed by her climbing skills.

(I thank the Lord for blessing me with these talents to help others. Thank you for your concern. Thank you also to Principal Arlene R. Castillo and Maam Llewelyn Almeyda who recorded the video)

“I wish po na kung ang mga vdeos po n ito ay nagagamit po ng iba para magkapera, sna po magkaroon po ng proper credit at kung may konting kita nman po i wish you can spare some for our school Savidug ES to support our projects😊...Thank you po...”
