5 minor human trafficking victims rescued in Angeles City

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police arrested a suspected human trafficker and rescued five minors in Angeles City, this province, on Thursday afternoon, October 10.

Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan identified the suspect as Aira.

POLICE rescue five minor human trafficking victims in Angeles City, Pampanga on Thursday, October 10.

Maranan said Aira was apprehended after she offered the services of the minors to undercover policemen.

The victims, all residents of Angeles City, have been provided immediate assistance and medical examination.

Maranan said the operation is a victory against human trafficking.

“This operation highlights the continuous efforts of law enforcement agencies and partner organizations in combating human trafficking and safeguarding the rights and welfare of vulnerable individuals in the community,” he said.
