Suzuki Philippines brings the call of adventure closer to more riders. The brand unveiled the all-new Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX, Master of Adventure, at the InsideRACING Performance and Lifestyle Expo, held at the World Trade Center.
Sport touring design

The latest addition to the V-Strom line, the 250 SX hopes to make the call of adventure much more accessible to riders with the latest member of the V-Strom family.
It has a prominent beak-like design found on V-Strom models with sport inspired fairing design, bold graphics and textures on both side panels, improving on the overall look. Its compact, windscreen is functional, helping reduce fatigue on long rides. The Sporty LED headlight has a split high and low beam setup. Around back, its rear combination lights give it presence. Its ground clearance of 205mm offers a high riding position which provides a clear view of the road ahead and surroundings, while its comfortable two-tone split-seat gives it a sporty look.

A well-rounded chassis is the backbone of the V-Strom 250 SX, suited for riding on both pavement and off-road. The sub-frame has been redesigned to accommodate both passenger and gear on a slim, compact bike that’s stable, inspires confidence at low speed handling, allowing ease of maneuvering and parking. The wheels are spoke cast aluminum, 19-inches in front and 17-inches in the rear, and tires with a semi-block pattern.
Keeping it aloft are large diameter front forks that have 120mm of suspension travel. The rear suspension is seven-step adjustable. It also has a dual-channel Antilock Brake System (ABS) with a single 310mm front disc and a single 240mm rear disc brake.
Engine
The V-Strom 250 SX is powered by a fuel injected 250cc, four-stroke, single cylinder, four-valve, single overhead cam engine with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP FI). It’s paired with a six-speed gearbox. It ends with a dual exhaust muffler that has been specially-tuned to provide a satisfying sound while looking sporty and tough.
Advanced technology

Equipped with Suzuki’s Easy Start System, the SEP FI engine is based on Suzuki's MotoGP design. It features a weight saving and friction reducing technology which results in excellent power delivery with economical fuel consumption. It’s also equipped with the Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS).
Riders get a fully digital instrument panel is fully digital with an inverted display allowing for better visibility of comprehensive ride information. It also has a convenient USB charger for mobile gadgets.
Safety and convenience

To protect the engine, there’s an engine under cowling that also adds to its tough look. Standard equipment are the knuckle covers, an aluminum grab bar and a rear carrier with a 6-kg carrying capacity. It even has four hooks to secure extra baggage.

The V-Strom 250 SX comes in two colors: Champion Yellow and Glass Sparkle Black. It’s priced at P229,000. It will be available for delivery in January 2023, in the meantime, Suzuki Philippines is accepting online reservations.
