IMUS CITY, Cavite – A bus caught fire along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Barangay Palico IV here early morning of Wednesday, Oct. 19.
Fire Officer 1 Anna Marie Nato of Imus City Fire Station told the Manila Bulletin that the fire was reported at 5:46 a.m. and firefighters arrived on site at 5:49 a.m.
The blaze that engulfed the vehicle's rear was controlled by 6:02 a.m. and fire out was declared at 6:04.
No casualties were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
In a Facebook post, the City Government of Imus told motorists and commuters to expect slow traffic movement along the area due to the incident.
