PCGH OPD Teleconsultation temporary stops after three nurses test positive for COVID-19
The Pasay City General Hospital’s (PCGH) out-patient department teleconsulation was temporary closed on March 25 after three nurses were found to be positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Based on the memorandum order of Dr. John Victor De Gracia, officer-in-charge of PCGH, the OPD teleconsultation was temporary closed and all nurses and other personnel assigned at the OPD are subjected to RT-PCR testing.
The order said the OPD Teleconsulation will immediately resume once all the personnel turn out negative for COVID-19.
The city government launched the OPD Teleconsulation last year as a means to serve the city residents who wish to ask for consultation instead of visiting hospitals.
The OPD Teleconsultation gives consultation services on surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics-gynecology, from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
