Lea Salonga just turned 50 and she is not expecting Aga Muhlach to greet her

Lea Salonga is celebrating her 50th birthday today, Feb. 22.

Some fans were quick to greet the awarded singer-actress.

Others were seemingly only too eager to rain on her parade.

One of them said: "Binati ka na po ba ni Sir Aga?"

Lea gamely replied with, "Not yet. He's living his best life on a boat, so I don't expect anything."

Oh, well.

Aga and Lea starred in 2 romantic movies together, "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal" (1992) and "Sana Maulit Muli" (1995). Both are regarded as timeless classics.

Since then, many of their fans have been openly wishing for them to reunite on-screen.

Asked if she is going to ape other stars and organize her own virtual concert, Lea replied, "Parang ayoko. I'd rather wait until I can be on the same room with people again without feeling anxiety or fear."
