In his YouTube show “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” Diaz encouraged his viewers to vote for Aquino, Pangilinan, and Mendoza.
“Heto, hindi ako magbabanggit ng twelve. Si Bam Aquino, si Kiko Pangilinan, si Heidi Mendoza ang dating COA commissioner. Iyan, matitino ‘yan, ako na nagsasabi sa inyo, matitino yang tatlo na ‘yan (I will not mention 12. The others are already understood. Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan, Heidi Mendoza the former COA commissioner. They’re good, I will tell you all, those three are good),” he stated.
His co-hosts—Mama Loi Villarama and Tita Jegs—agreed and confirmed that they are backing the three’s candidacies, too.
Diaz and Mama Loi were both active volunteers during the 2022 presidential and vice presidential bids of former vice president Leni Robredo and Pangilinan, respectively. They hosted several “pink rallies” for the tandem.
