Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast has announced a new model in their catalog as they showcase the VF6 electric SUV at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025. Designed for urban lifestyles, this all-electric crossover brings modern design, practical features, and competitive range figures, all wrapped in a compact footprint that should appeal to city drivers and young professionals.

The VF6 will be offered in two variants: the VF6 Eco and VF6 Plus, Eco and Plus, with MSRPs of P1,419,000 and P1,610,000, respectively. Both models share a 59.6 kWh battery pack, but differ in performance. The Eco is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor delivering 174-horsepower and 250-Nm of torque, offering an estimated range of up to 399-kilometers based on the WLTP cycle. Meanwhile, the VF6 Plus ups the ante with 201-horsepower and 310-Nm of torque, with a slightly lower range estimate of 381-kilometers. Either way, the VF6 promises strong efficiency and a smooth electric driving experience, well-suited for everyday commuting.

Inside, the VF6 features a minimalist, tech-forward cabin anchored by a 12.9-inch touchscreen that houses most of the car’s controls and infotainment features. It supports voice commands, over-the-air updates, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior is surprisingly roomy for a subcompact crossover and offers thoughtful design elements like two-tone upholstery (on the Plus) and ambient lighting. Safety is also a key focus, with the VF6 offering a suite of driver-assist systems, including lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.

In terms of aftersales service, the VF 6 comes with one of the most competitive warranties in its class: 7 years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. In addition to services at VinFast showrooms, the company is collaborating with trusted partners such as Motech and JIGA to build a nationwide network of 100 authorized service centers by the end of 2025.

VinFast’s arrival at MIAS 2025 signals the Vietnamese carmaker’s intent to make a lasting impression on Filipino car buyers, especially those who are curious about what the future of accessible electric mobility looks like.
