The International Series makes its debut in the Philippines from Oct. 23 to 26 with organizers aiming to elevate the game of golf in a country they believed to have a rich history in the sport.
The landmark event presented by BingoPlus, which dangles a $2 million purse, is set at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club and is expected to attract some of the big names from LIV Golf and top players from the Asian Tour.

“We’ve been very focused on growing the game and to audiences beyond just golf, and that’s done through multiple activities on and off the golf course. We look to continue to do that, and we’re excited about bringing that to the Philippines,” said Rahul Singh, head of The International Series.
“The demographic of the International Series is changing quite dramatically as the audiences are becoming younger, and seeing how young the demographic in the Philippines is, we are looking forward to just being able to engage with a younger audience beside the traditional golf fans,” he added.
The tournament serves as the seventh confirmed event on the 2025 International Series schedule. Other countries hosting are Japan in May, Morocco in July, and Indonesia in August.
The event also allows room for growth in the local scene, with spots expected to be allocated to Filipino players.
“It’s incredible how by doing this in some of the countries we’ve been to over the last few years, players have had the opportunity to play alongside major winners, which would never be possible in other tournaments,” said Singh.
“This is something that we’re very keen on. When we talk about growing the game, it’s not just for fans, but it’s about opportunities for players who would otherwise not have the same ability to play alongside elite golfers,” he added.
Vicky Jones, Managing Director of 54 Asia Pacific, echoed the sentiment and was grateful for the partnership that they have with BingoPlus in bringing this kind of tournament in the country.
“The welcome that we’ve had this week is indicative of the passion that there is, in the market here for golf and for this product and for the International Series. It’s a very exciting place that we’re sitting in at the moment, and we’re looking forward to October and building a fantastic event for everyone,” Jones said.
