In a post made by US Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Carlson on X, she shared a photo of her and four government officials, including members of the US Department of Defense posing with an aircraft in the background, saying they hosted an aerial tour with them.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, Presidential Assistant on Maritime Concerns Secretary Andres Centino, and Philippine Coast Guard commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan were part of the group given an aerial tour by the US embassy.

"With @DeptOfDefense (US Department of Defense), honored to host Exec. Sec. Bersamin, @SCPh_PIO (Supreme Court) Chief Justice Gesmundo, Sec. Centino, and @CoastGuardPH (Philippine Coast Guard) Adm. Gavan for an aerial tour of the South China Sea," Carlson said in her post.

The photo was posted on Feb. 27. But, no further details have been released by the Embassy or the Palace about the aerial tour.
