Adamson super rookie Shai Nitura continued to impress despite her team's elimination, exploding for 37 points to lift the Lady Falcons to a 14-25, 29-27, 25-22, 25-22 win over the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws in the UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, April 12.

Nitura achieved another milestone after dropping her fifth 30-point game built on 31 spikes, five blocks and one ace to go along with 13 excellent digs and 12 receptions, scoring a total of 314 season points to eclipse Alyssa Valdez's record of 312 points in Season 77.
To make it more impressive, Adamson still has two games left in eliminations, giving the young star more playing time and chance to amass more points in an already historic individual performance.
Despite her all-season effort, Nitura is out of the Final Four picture with its 5-7 record.
FEU, on the other hand, still looked good with an 8-5 slate at fourth, though its bid for a semis bonus is slowly fading away.
“Grateful ako na kahit hindi kami makakapasok ng Final Four, pero yung learnings na makukuha namin, sobrang laking foundation nito for us. Very grateful pero hindi pa tapos,” Nitura said.
Frances Mordi and Mayang Nuique supported Nitura with 11 points apiece, while for FEU side it was Gerz Petallo who topscored with 18 points.
Meanwhile, UST stamped its class over the slumping University of the East, 25-19, 25-16, 25-15, to bolster its playoff bid.
The Golden Tigresses improved to 8-4 to sit behind De La Salle (8-3) at third.
Angge Poyos and Reg Jurado steered the Kungfu Reyes-mentored crew with a combined 22 points.
