Visitors to the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025 will have the chance to win a compact electric vehicle, as QSJ Motors Phils., Inc. is offering a 2025 Bestune Pony Mini EV through a giveaway at the Bestune booth. The auto show takes place from April 10 to 13 at the World Trade Center in Manila.
To join the giveaway, attendees must complete an electronic entry form available at the booth. Additional entries can be earned by posting a photo or video with the PONY Mini EV on social media. Posts must include the hashtags #BestunePONYMiniEV and #iwantaPONYMiniEV, tag @FAWBestunePhilippines, and mention three friends. Posts should be set to "Public" to be eligible. The deadline for entries is 5:00 PM on April 13, with the winner drawn electronically via a "Wheel of Names" at 7:00 PM.
The Pony Mini EV is a new electric microcar developed by Bestune, a sub-brand of FAW Group. Designed for urban environments, it offers a compact footprint and easy maneuverability. It is powered by a single electric motor that delivers 27-PS and 85-Nm of torque to the rear wheels. The car is available with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options: a 9.4-kWh pack that offers an estimated range of 122 kilometers, and a larger 13.9-kWh pack rated for about 170 kilometers on a full charge.
It emphasizes low operating costs, zero tailpipe emissions, and practical short-range usability, well-suited for short-distance travel and daily city driving. Its small form factor and colorful styling are geared toward younger, city-based drivers seeking an eco-friendly alternative to gasoline vehicles.
The Pony Mini EV also represents Bestune's efforts to enter the growing global market for affordable electric vehicles and highlights how brands under the FAW umbrella are adapting to changing consumer demands in urban mobility.
In addition to the Pony Mini EV, visitors to the Bestune booth can also explore other New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) showcased under related brands such as Seres, Aito, and DFSK. Electric models which reflect upon the increasing focus of Filipinos on electrification.
