If you have a Tesla, you can worry less about finding a place to charge as Tesla Philippines is expanding its charging network. As a follow-up to its first set of Superchargers in Uptown Mall, the brand has recently installed more in SM Mall of Asia as well as Destination Charging stations in Eastwood Mall in Quezon City.
SM Mall of Asia in Pasay boasts of four V4 Superchargers now operational, located in the South Wing along Ocean Boulevard, which will be accessible 24/7. These Superchargers can deliver a peak charging efficiency of 250-kW, allowing Tesla vehicles to gain an impressive 120 kilometers of additional range after just five minutes of charging.
The Supercharging service operates on a pay-per-use basis, providing Tesla owners with premium charging experience at an affordable rate of P19 per kWh. It only costs around P1,140 to fully charge a Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive, which boasts a remarkable range of up to 513km (WLTP).

In addition to the Superchargers, Tesla has also opened its first Destination Charging site in Quezon City at the Eastwood Mall, located in the B1 Parking. These four Destination Chargers provide a competitive charging rate of P16.00 per kWh. The Destination Charging network is designed to be located at various venues such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, shopping centers, and other public places, ensuring that Tesla owners have easy access to charging stations while engaging in their daily activities. This strategic placement caters to those who may need to charge their vehicles overnight or during extended visits, further enhancing the convenience of owning a Tesla.
The Tesla charging experience can be summed up by the phrase ‘Plug in, charge, and go.’ Each charging station is equipped with automated charger detection technology, allowing the charging cover to open seamlessly, making it incredibly easy for users to connect their vehicles. Tesla owners can manage their charging experience conveniently through the Tesla mobile app, where they can check the availability of chargers, monitor their charging status, and receive notifications when their vehicle is ready to hit the road. Payments for Supercharging and Destination Charging are automatically processed through the app, empowering Tesla owners with the freedom to travel without the hassle of worrying about payment logistics.
With these new charging options, Tesla Philippines is committed to supporting its growing community of electric vehicle owners, making it easier than ever to power up their vehicles away from home and enjoy the freedom of driving a Tesla.
