Shaina Nitura is trying her best to shy away from social media as she would rather turn her focus in her big role as Adamson's leading scorer.

The 20-year-old Nitura caught the league by storm in just her rookie year, once exploding for 33 points for the Lady Falcons who are at the middle of the pack with a 2-4 win-loss record.

Despite her individual success, the big hitter is avoiding all the unnecessary noises outside of the playing court as she deals with her personal challenges as a student and a star athlete.

The super rookie from Cainta, Rizal and the Lady Falcons recently suffered a 25-21, 25-23, 25-18 loss to the NU Lady Bulldogs last Wednesday, March 12, at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Nitura still has high hopes that she and her squad can bounce back from their subpar showing so far as they try to earn a Final Four spot.

“Kasi wala namang imposible.”
