It was reported that the teacher took a leave of absence from the school due to depression and returned to work last December.
The teacher suffered self-inflicted wounds and will be investigated by the police.
IVE sent the funeral wreath as well as photo cards to the funeral hall at Konyang University Hospital in Daejeon.
The victim’s father told Korean media that her daughter was a fan of IVE member Jang Won-young.
“Haneul’s dream was to be Jang Won-young. She asked me to buy her an IVE photo card with Jang Won-young on it. No matter what program Jang Won-young was on, she was a child who had to watch it live even if she had to stay up late. I know you're busy, but if it's really possible, please come see our Ha-neul," the father said.
Kim Ha-neul’s funeral will be held on Feb. 14.
