PAGASA, in its weather forecast, said areas in Luzon and the Visayas will experience scattered rains due to the effects of the shear line and the northeast monsoon or "amihan."

These weather systems, PAGASA said, are expected to bring cooler temperatures and light showers across several areas.

PAGASA noted that the shear line will be affecting the Visayas and the eastern section of Southern Luzon.

The rest of Luzon, PAGASA added, will also be affected by the northeast monsoon.

The effects of the "amihan" will continue to prevail in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, according to PAGASA.

Likewise, the northeast monsoon will also bring cloudy skies with rains to Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora.

Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Laguna, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Aklan, and Capiz will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Meanwhile, PAGASA noted that Caraga, Davao de Oro, and Davao Oriental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms to the rest of the country.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms or during moderate to heavy rains, which could sometimes be intense.
