Devotees of the Black Nazarene may need to prepare for isolated light rain during the annual procession on Thursday, Jan. 9, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its special weather outlook released on Tuesday, Jan. 7, PAGASA said that Metro Manila will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with the possibility of passing light showers during this year's Traslacion, which marks the relocation of the Black Nazarene to Quiapo Church.

Winds are expected to be moderate to occasionally strong due to the northeast monsoon (amihan), while temperatures will range from 22°C to 32°C.

PAGASA added that these weather conditions are expected to persist over Metro Manila until Friday, Jan. 10.
