Two women have been arrested in Caloocan City for holding online sex shows of children, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) announced on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
NBI Director Jaime B. Santiago presented before the media the two arrested women whose identities have been withheld.
The two women were arrested last Aug. 2 in Caloocan City by operatives of the NBI Violence Against Women and Children Division (NBI-VAWCD) who served a Warrant to Search, Seize and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD) issued by Caloocan City Regional Trial Court (RTC) sitting as a Family Court.
“The two facilitators were caught in flagrante delicto (in the act) offering their children to perform sexually explicit shows in exchange for a fee,” the bureau said.
“VAWCD operatives identified themselves, announced their purpose, and arrested the said facilitators,” it said.
During the operation, the bureau said “ VAWCD was able to rescue six (6) minor victims with the ages of 14 (boy and girl), 10 (girl), 7 (girl), 2 years old (girl), and 2 months old (girl).”
“Interview with the minor victims revealed that they were not only shown naked on camera but they were also forced to perform sexual acts with one another, sibling to sibling, cousin to cousin, mother to son/daughter while on camera and being viewed live by foreigners,” the NBI said.
“These disclosures from the minor victims were confirmed by our Medical Legal Doctors who found several fresh and old abrasions in the private parts of our female victims,” it added.
The NBI also diclosed that initial digital forensic reports revealed that “hundreds of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) and sexual chat conversation in the cellular phones of the subjects with foreigners.”
Following the operation, the bureau said “multiple counts of Violation of Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) or Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) under RA 11930, Qualified Trafficking under RA 9208 as amended by RA11862, Child Abuse law under RA7610 and Rape by sexual assaults under RA 8353 as amended were filed at the Department Justice.”
