Laborer electrocuted, falls to death in Cagayan

A construction worker plunged to his death after he was electrocuted on the third floor of a building under construction at the public market in Camalaniugan, Cagayan on Thursday, August 15.

Police identified the victim as Loreto, 27, of Barangay Felipe Tuzon, Camalaniugan.

Investigation said the iron bar the victim was holding accidentally touched a live wire. He was electrocuted and plunged to the ground.

The victim was first taken to a hospital in Camalaniugan and later transferred to a hospital in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan where he was declared dead.
