The Parañaque city government, through the office of Rep. Edwin Olivarez, announced that college students under four-year bachelor courses may apply for the Commission on Higher Education's (CHED) Tulong Dunong educational assistance program.
Olivarez said qualified students will receive P15,000 each which will be divided into two semesters of the school year equivalent to P7,500.
The program is open to 330 Parañaque City students.
To qualify for the program, applicants must be a Filipino citizen and submit a photocopy of their voter’s certificate or voter’s registration stub; two original copies of barangay indigency of both students and their parents or guardians; and the combined household gross income must not exceed P400,000.
Interested individuals were also required to submit original copy with certified true copy of their enrollment registration, government-issued IDs, school ID with three original signs, and the application form to be completed in the lawmaker's office located at the 2nd floor of the city hall.
