The ePRC, or electronic-PRC, represents the integration of the agency into the eGov Super App.

In his remarks, DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy emphasized that the initiative is an "effort between the PRC and DICT exemplifies the commitment of the Philippine government to digitalize and improve public service delivery."

"By leveraging advanced technologies and fostering inter-agency partnerships, the government aims to provide more efficient, secure, and

accessible services to its citizens, ultimately enhancing the overall quality of public service in the Philippines," Uy said.

The PRC, an attached agency to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), is responsible for regulating and supervising the practice of various professions in the Philippines.

Its key responsibilities include administering licensure examinations, issuing licenses, enforcing professional standards, mandating continuing professional development, and disciplining professionals who violate regulations.

In June 2023, the DICT's eGovernment Office launched the eGov App, marking a significant milestone in integrating various national government services.

With the PRC joining this system, individuals needing to transact with the commission will enjoy several benefits.

The PRC has integrated its services with the eGov App through Single-Sign-On (SSO) application programming interfaces (API), resulting in the "ePRC" System.

This integration allows eGov users to seamlessly access PRC online services, view their profiles, and obtain their electronic PRC Identification Card (ePIC) directly through the eGov App.

With this initiative, users can now integrate their National ID, PRC Digital ID, and access a One-Stp Portal.

Users can also send feedback and support requests, enjoy seamless registration, and access their personal information—all through their mobile phones.

The event was attended by various officials from the involved parties, including PRC Assistant Commissioner Lord Louis P. Valera, PRC Chairperson Charito A. Zamora, and DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr.
