The fashion and lifestyle magazine is kicking off the Summer Olympic month with Diaz-Naranjo in the first cover as a fitting look back on her historic gold medal conquest in the previous edition in Tokyo.

In a double sports feature, Bustamante is gracing the second cover following a successful ongoing stint in F1 Academy.

Diaz-Naranjo and Bustamante are the second and third Filipina athletes to get solo cover features in the monthly magazine.

Tennis star Alex Eala graced the cover in November 2022 during the recently-launched Philippine edition of the magazine following her US Open girls singles title victory two months prior.

The Philippine women’s national football team eventually made the cover with captain Hali Long, Sarina Bolden, Olivia and Chandler McDaniel, and Inna Palacios altogether in the front spread three months after their debut at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Although Diaz-Naranjo will not be one of the 20 Filipino bets making an appearance at the Paris Games, the weightlifter carried with her the country’s hopes and aspirations in the historic Tokyo conquest.

Meanwhile, the 19-year-old Bustamante was previously in another Vogue feature in May where she talked about her journey in becoming the first McLaren Development Driver for her second F1 Academy stint.
