BI urges public to report suspected illegal aliens

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) urged the public to report suspected illegal aliens in their localities.

Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco said that in Batangas, the public may report suspected illegal aliens during a service caravan in the province starting June 7.

During the caravan, Tansingco said the BI will provide expedited processing for various services like tourist visa extensions, exit clearances, dual citizenship applications, and other important transactions.

“We ask the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities of foreign individuals that they encounter,” he said.

He reminded tht just last May 29 the BI arrested seven Chinese nationals including their boss who were found illegally working at a quarrying site in Taysan, Batangas.

Those arrested were identified as Wang Zhenglai, 34, his father Wang Shou Min, 67, who was identified as the boss of the mining operation, Gao Zhengyao, Wang Yongshang, Song Ke Wei, Cai Wenbi, and Huang Hai Min.
