We had this one hilarious episode on our YouTube Channel, Marites University. (well lagi  naman kaming loka loka!) Rose Garcia had a story about Kapuso talent, Faith Da Silva (dapat knows natin ha!), but the name she mentioned was Faith Cu, and then she paused. Out of the thrill, I shouted: “Cuneta! Faith Cuneta!” Ambet Nabus and Jun Nardo burst into laughter. (as in oa sa tawa!) Faith Cuneta suddenly became part of all the showbiz stories for that episode. (kahit wala syang kinalaman at  pati mga live viewers di maka-move on!) After the airing, Ambet messaged Faith and invited her to appear on our next episode. (Salamat kay Faith Da Silva!)

Faith immediately said yes to our invitation. (kaladkarin din e!) She sang several songs in one segment and joined us for an interview. (daming exposure!)

I remember seeing Faith and her manager, Jacob Fernandez, in events and gigs years ago. (nung nangangarap akong magshowbiz! Pangarap na bituin?!) That’s why I was excited to be with her again. (wow parang close kami ha!)

Faith may not be visible on television but she performs in events and special occasions.  (nasa sirkulasyon! Ikot ikot lang sabi ni Sarah G!)

“Nagpapasalamat ako na kahit di ako masyadong napapanuod, hindi naman tayo nawawalan ng raket sa mga shows here and abroad.” Faith says (gusto ko yung pa-international flight!)

Her hit theme songs for  GMA’s tagalized Koreanovelas gave her the title “Koreanovela Diva,” and it is giving her more opportunities. (dapat maging diva rin ako!)

“Actually marami pa rin silang pinapakanta sakin ang GMA. Yung iba cover songs. Meron din akong album sa spotify. “ Faith shares  (gusto ko yung version nya ng Through the Years ha!)

Faith has just regrets in joining the The Voice Philippines Blind Auditions of ABS-CBN. She didn't expect that no one from the judges: Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo voted for her. “Aminin ko, sumama talaga ang loob ko, kasi yung kinanta ko yung Ikaw na matagal ko nang kinakanta at sila yung nag-invite sa akin na sumali dun. Medyo na-trauma rin ako.” (baka sira yung mga upuan kaya waley umikot!)

Aside from her singing engagements, she is also busy being a mom to her 6 year old son Ethan especially that her American husband is based in Guam. “Kakaiba kasi ang set-up namin. LDR.  Nasa Amerika sya, every two months lang kami nagkikita. Either kami ang pupunta sa kanya, or sya ang pupunta sa amin. Ok naman, at least wala kaming time mag-away kasi minsan na ngalang magkikita kita.” (ay maraming imported goods!)
