DOH said the effort, which is in accordance with Administrative Order (DO) 2022-0047, will include the full implementation of GHW templates starting May 12.

It highlighted the severe penalties stipulated in Republic Act (RA) No. 11900, known as the “Vape Law.”

"Among the considerable fines facing manufacturers, importers, distributors, and sellers are amounts totaling two to five million pesos, along with potential imprisonment not exceeding six years," DOH said.

The directive also extends to Novel Tobacco Products that the invalidation or revocation of permits and licenses, immediate product retrieval, prohibition, or confiscation facilitated by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

In addition, foreign individuals found in violation may face deportation.
