The country’s longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga, never fails to introduce interesting segments for televiewers to enjoy. (kahit halos five decades na sila ha!) Most of their “pakulos” (luma ng term ha!) are already part of Philippine television history. (pwede na maging course sa college!) One of their newest concepts is Peraphy. It’s a simple game. Shuffle the deck of giant cards, get one card, and guess if your next card has a lower or higher value. (pababa o pataas parang spaghetti lang!) To make it more exciting, they have the SQ or Singing Queens, composed of Sam, Eunice, Jean, Khazey, and Anne, manning the game while performing song and dance numbers (ke-gaganda ng mga ate mo ha!)

I am thrilled that EB always invites me to be in their new segments. (at nakakapag-maganda ako!) Last Friday was my Peraphy moment. (di ako tumatanggi sa grasya!) Bossing Vic Sotto, Miles Ocampo and Maine Mendoza are in charge of the game. (pwede akong pang-apat na host ha!) It is always an honor to have an on-cam banter with Bossing. (daig ko pa ang honor student!)

I also took the opportunity to be in my usual “playtime” mode with Miles and Maine. (bilang certified Marites University Scholar ako!) I chose Eunice to get one of my cards. (gusto ko mang-asar!) I learned that Maine got jealous of Eunice during the guest appearance of her husband, Arjo Atayde. (I'm sure charotan lang yung selosan!) I also took one card to wish Miles and her love interest a happy love story because I asked her off cam about her ex-boyfriend Elijah Canlas: “Ano, kayo na ulit?!” she quickly answered: “Getting there.”(pero mukhang kay Kiko Estrada tinutukso si Miles sa Bulaga!)

But as they say, Karma is now digital. Sir Joey De Leon, who was with Tito Sen Sotto and Allan K at the audience gallery, revealed some information about my love life! (afraid! bilang ang tagal  naming magkasama sa Wow Mali!)

I also had fun with the SQ. (may ganda na, may boses pa! nakakatomboy ha!) We know that Eat Bulaga is also a star maker. (grupo man o solo!) They are blessed to have this opportunity to shine. (baka pwede rin akong maging SQ!)

I may not have won the jackpot, but I did win a cash prize that I shared with a lucky home partner. (pero kung ayaw nya, akin na lang!)

"Eat Bulaga" is like home to me. (feeling Dabarkads ang acla!) I am forever thankful for this show because it gave me one of my first regular TV hosting gigs during my early years as a radio jock. I love you, Dabarkads! (dito lang ako pag need nyo kagandahan ko!)
