The United States Embassy in Manila has announced that it will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
It said it is in line with US President Joe Biden’s announcement, suspending the work of the executive department and all agencies of the Federal Government.
“All visa interviews and routine American Citizens Services (ACS) appointments at the U.S. Embassy on December 24 are canceled and will be rescheduled,” the embassy said.
Meanwhile, the offsite Visa Application Center will remain open on Dec. 24 for applicants who are scheduled for photo and fingerprint collection.
“Please check your registered email for your new schedule or rescheduling instructions,” it said.
“You may contact the Consular Section directly at ph.usembassy.gov/consular/ if you have any questions or concerns regarding your new schedule,” it added.
