A duet of the famous holiday song “White Christmas” will be released, featuring BTS’ V and Bing Crosby.

“White Christmas (with V of BTS),” featuring the voices of V and Crosby, is set for release at 2 p.m. KST on Dec. 6.

Big Hit Music, BTS’ agency, announced that V reinterpreted and sang a part of Crosby’s “White Christmas,” which was released in 1942.

It will be the first Crosby duet to be released in 47 years since his collaboration with David Bowie in 1977 through the song "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy."

In 2022, V uploaded a video where he played Crosby’s "It's Been a Long, Long Time."

Crosby, who passed away in 1977, was regarded as one of the greatest stars of the 20th century.

“White Christmas” has been covered by many singers including Michael Bublé, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry but a duet has never been released.

Guinness World Records recognized the 1942 “White Christmas” by Crosby as the best-selling single for Christmas, which “has sold over 100 million records around the world, with at least 50 million sales as singles.”
