Korean actor Jung Woo-sung revealed to be father of model’s baby but doesn’t want to marry her

Korean actor Jung Woo-sung, 51, has been revealed to be the father of a baby of a 35-year-old model but he doesn’t want to marry her.

Model Moon Gabi announced on Nov. 22 on Instagram that she has a baby.

“Last year was a turbulent year, and with only a month left until the new year of 2024, I am writing this to tell my story,” she wrote.

She added, “I am nervous and worried about writing this publicly as a mother of a child, not just my own story…But now, I have gathered my courage to live a little more ordinary happiness as a mother of a child.”

Korean media reported that the father of her child is Jung Woo-sung.

In an exclusive report by Korean media outlet Dispatch, Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi first met in 2022.

In June last year, he got her pregnant. She gave birth in March this year. He promised to take responsibility for raising the baby.

Another news report by 10 Asia stated that the two are in conflict over child custody and marriage.

Moon Ga-bi wanted to get married and have a family for her child but Jung Woo-sung did not want to get married.

The report stated that Jung Woo-sung only acknowledged his role as a biological father but did not want to become Moon Ga-bi’s husband. He, however, paid child support and childbirth-related expenses.

Previously, Moon Ga-bi personally revealed that she had secretly given birth to a baby on the 22nd. However, Moon Ga-bi did not open her mouth about the biological father of her two-year-old, her husband, or whether she would marry him, which made the public curious.

Besides being an actor, Jung Woo-sung is also the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador.

He starred in films and dramas such as “Hunt,” “12.12: The Day,” “Tell Me That You Love Me” and “Padam Padam.”
